Trustist vs Other Review Platforms (Based on Their Reviews)

We talk about reviews all the time. It is, after all, what we do; but just what do reviews say about other review platforms?

Well, in the interest of fairness, let’s start with us. Type ‘Trustist reviews’ into Google and you’ll see that our Google My Business profile comes straight up showing 4.9 out of 5 stars and 93 Google reviews.

Scroll down and you’ll find g2.com giving us 4.6 stars out of 5. Finally, if you head over to our website, you’ll see that on our homepage we have aggregated our reviews from all online sources and have 5 out of 5 stars and 216 customer reviews.

How do other review platforms perform?

Well, bizarrely, Bazaarvoice don’t display their reviews (aggregated or otherwise) on their websites at all! Nor do they have a Google My Business listing or Google reviews displayed. We did find them listed on g2.com (4.5 out of 5 stars) and on trustradius.com (4 out of 5 stars) but not a mention, not a glimpse, of a review on their own website.

What about Feefo? It’s the same story as Bazaarvoice when it comes to Google My Business – no listing, no Google reviews. However, Trustpilot has given Feefo 1.4 stars out of 5, whereas g2.com have given them 4.3 out of 5. Then it’s back down to 1.54 out of 5 on reviews.io. Confused yet?

What about Reputation.com? Again, no Google My Business profile or Google reviews to be seen. On Trustpilot they score 3.3 out of 5 stars but 4.5 out of 5 on g2.com!

Reviews.io – you’ve guessed it! No Google My Business listing, no Google reviews. They managed 2 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot whilst g2.com gave them a fabulous 5 out of 5 stars.

Trustpilot – let’s start with the good news. On g2.com they have 4 out of 5 stars but on reviews.io they get just 1.29 out of 5 stars. No Google My Business profile, no Google reviews available. They do, however, run their recent reviews on their own website and appear to show them all including a couple of 1 star reviews all the way thorough to their 5 star reviews.

Last but by no means least, let’s look at Yell.com. Again, no Google My Business profile or Google reviews. They’ve achieved 3.7 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot but only 1.10 out of 5 stars on reviews.io.

So, what does all this tell us?

  1. Apart from Trustist and one other review platform none of the other review platforms display their own customer reviews on their own websites!
  2. No-one, apart from Trustist, has a Google My Business profile and Google reviews available to view. Now, to us both of these fabulous tools quickly, easily and transparently show any visiting potential/existing client key details about your business and, vitally importantly, what your existing clients think of you and your service!
  3. Only Trustist display their aggregated reviews openly on our website. None of the other review platforms did

Why do we choose to do what we do? We publish all our reviews so that straight away clients and potential clients can see we are a transparent, open and honest company who fully practice what we preach. We’ve always wanted to give those visiting our site or our Google My Business profile the clearest trust indicator that we can and that, dear reader, is through enabling them to read our reviews. As the above clearly demonstrates, the market can be confusing but if you practice total transparency, fully optimise your Google My Business profile, encourage Google Reviews and aggregate your reviews from all digital sources onto your website you are, in our humble opinion at least, being as transparent as you can be.

Reputations are built on happy customers
