Dunelm Stevenage Review by Templa…, 2008-07-28T00:00:00
This is on the outskirts of the town but we were quite impressed with the range of stuff and the very reasonable prices. This is not designer stuff but it isn't tacky either. It is only about 2 years old. Open seven days a week and has free parking. It is famous for its range of fabrics there are literally hundreds to choose from and the stores offers a made to measure service for curtains. They also have dress fabrics and haberdashery.Other departments include beds and bedding see the new high quality Hotel range bathroom, kitchen, lighting, furniture, rugs, quilts, and the store's famous Market Place where there are extra bargains to be found and this section is constantly changing. We bought curtain poles and hard to get things like curtain hooks which cost pennies. I had a lie down and a bounce on a memory foam bedI want one! They also had nice servicable blinds and things like picnic sets and hobby carry cases. After all that shopping there is the store's own Coffee Shop which offers a full range of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Good value for household goods and fabrics.
